Gengqi LIU 刘庚琪

Gengqi Liu was born in Heze, Shandong Province. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Shandong University of Science and Technology in 2018 and master degree in our lab in 2021. Gengqi's research interest involves novel crosslinker development for drug delivery formulations. If not playing with his favorite crosslinkers in lab, he is probably playing basketball, watching movies or traveling.
Zhen was born in Maanshan, Anhui Province. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Chizhou Colleage in 2016 and did his master in our lab from 2018-2021. Zhen is specifically interested in molecular imaging and CRISPR-Cas9 delivery. In his spare time, he enjoys dancing and exploring popular cultural fashions.
Zhen JIANG 姜振

Yumiao Zhang is a full professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at Tianjin University, China, since 2018. He obtained his dual bachelor degrees from Nankai University (Chemistry) and Tianjin University (Chemical Engineering) in 2010. After one-year of research training at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, he transferred to the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo), where he received his Ph.D. degree (Chemical and Biological Engineering) from the Lab of Jonathan Lovell in 2016. Then he went to UC Berkeley for his postdoc training. Afterwards, he came back to Tianjin University for his independent research in 2018.

Postdoctoral Fellows
Boyang SUN 孙勃旸

Boyang Sun joined us as a postdoc fellow since April, 2022. He obtained his master (Advisor: Chong Cheng) and Ph.D. (Advisor: Jonathan F. Lovell) degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He is an expert on cabazitaxel and his research interests include cancer chemo therapy and immunotherapy.

He Ren was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. He got his Ph.D. degree from our lab at Tianjin University in 2023, and obtained his undergraduate and master degree at Sichuan University in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He Ren is fascinated by cancer immunotherapy and novel drug delivery system development. He enjoys extensive reading, soccer and classical music.
